About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Digital PR Executive ready to take a more independent role in campaign delivery and outreach strategy across a portfolio of client accounts.
You'll work closely with PR Strategists and the wider team, but with greater autonomy than an Executive, overseeing and executing your own outreach efforts, owning the quality of your campaign execution, and beginning to act as a reliable voice on the accounts you work across - whilst leaning on senior figures as required to ensure strategic success for our clients.
You'll know how to build a pitch that lands, developing content and coverage that effectively meets the needs of the strategies developed by our teams. You will be someone who knows how to spot relevant trend opportunities, and how to turn a brief into a campaign and then into coverage.
This role also carries an important responsibility to the developing team around you: helping junior colleagues develop their skills, sharing what you know, and raising the standard of execution across every account you touch - acting as a sounding board for our junior team members.
What You Will Need
✔ 2+ years' experience in a Digital PR or content-led link building role, ideally agency-side
✔ Proven track record of securing media coverage, brand mentions, and links
✔ Strong outreach skills with an established or growing network of journalist contacts
✔ Solid understanding of how Digital PR supports SEO and organic performance
✔ Confident writer - press releases, pitches, and briefs come naturally to you
✔ Experience with media databases and outreach tools (e.g. Roxhill, Cision, BuzzStream)
✔ Familiarity with backlink and SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Google Search Console)
✔ Organised and self-sufficient - you manage your own workload without needing to be chased
✔ A collaborative team player who actively contributes to ideation and helps those around you grow
✔ Strong knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive)
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Outreach
- Independently lead end-to-end outreach on proactive PR campaigns - from building media lists through to securing coverage and reporting results
- Craft high-quality press releases, outreach pitches, and campaign angles with minimal senior oversight
- Build, maintain, and actively develop journalist, blogger, influencer, and media relationships across relevant sectors
- Monitor news/press proactively, identifying and acting on reactive PR opportunities at pace - bringing ideas to your Strategist before being asked
- Take responsibility for the quality of your own outreach and execution, reviewing your own work critically before it goes out
Strategy Support & Ideation
- Play an active, confident role in campaign brainstorms - leading thinking on media angles, story hooks, and reactive opportunities
- Contribute meaningfully to campaign research and data gathering, helping to develop concepts that are audience-first and media-relevant (Alongside Data Team Support)
- Support your Strategist in developing outreach strategies for campaigns, including recommending media targets, pitch angles, and sequencing
- Stay across competitor activity, emerging trends, and cultural moments that can inform campaign strategy and reactive hooks
Client & Account Contribution
- Develop a deep understanding of the clients you work across - their industries, audiences, competitors, and commercial objectives
- Contribute clearly to client-facing reports, translating coverage results into coherent performance narratives (Recorded as Loom Videos)
- Keep your Strategist & relevant account team well-informed on campaign progress, blockers, and opportunities - proactively, not reactively
- Begin to develop an understanding of how PR performance connects to broader account success, search everywhere ambitions, account health, and business objectives
Team & Junior Development
- Act as a reliable point of support for PR Executives working alongside you — sharing knowledge, reviewing work, and helping them improve
- Contribute to training and knowledge-sharing within the PR team on areas of your expertise
- Help set the standard for outreach quality, media relations, and campaign execution across the team
Tools & Performance
- Use media databases, backlink tools, and reporting platforms confidently and consistently as part of your day-to-day workflow
- Feed into performance reporting across the accounts you support, ensuring results are tracked accurately and communicated clearly
- Stay current with the evolving PR and SEO landscape — including how AI-driven discovery surfaces like Google AI Overviews and generative search tools are changing how brands earn visibility
